With Raster Scanning HD, an overall image with a resolution of up to 20,000 megapixels is created automatically. The subsequent measurement "in the image" is extremely fast and can be accelerated even further by connecting several computers in parallel. This makes the process many times faster than conventional measurement methods.
For comparison: the world's largest camera was designed for astronomical research, focussing on dark matter and dark energy. It consists of 189 chips of 16 megapixels each and thus achieves a resolution of 3,200 megapixels.
