A special feature of reamers is a radial undercut of the cutting edge. Parameters to be measured are diameter, circular run-out radial and the geometry of the pointing. Due to the very small tolerances, the requirements for measurement uncertainty are very high. The measuring time plays a subordinate role. Reamers are to be treated like shafts when measuring with the vision sensor.
