The side walls of injection moulded enclosures have draft angles due to the manufacturing process. Front surfaces have a high flatness requirement due to their sealing function. The most important geometrical characteristics are positions, diameters, distances and flatness of the sealing surfaces. With tolerances of 20 µm to 100 µm, the requirements for measurement uncertainty are in the medium range. The same applies to the measurement time.
