With the retracting axis, the multi-sensor changing rack is automatically moved into a parking position outside the measuring range. This means that the complete measuring range is available for measuring the workpieces, and collisions of the sensor with the changing rack are avoided. For some applications, a measuring machine with a smaller measuring range is sufficient.
